West Sussex is one of the better-served counties for padel: covered courts at East Grinstead, Bluecoat Sports in Horsham and Smash Padel at Cuckfield, indoor courts at Harbour Padel in a Littlehampton shipyard, and outdoor courts from Henfield to Angmering. Prices vary widely, so compare per person before you book.
Prices verified October 2026East Grinstead · 4 covered
Four covered courts at the sports club, priced per person rather than per court, which saves the awkward maths at the end. Non-members pay £9 an hour off-peak; members, who also get a ten-day booking window, pay barely half that.
Horsham · 4 covered
Four covered, floodlit outdoor courts at Bluecoat Sports, priced per player: £11 a head for non-members, £8.80 for members, for an hour.
Littlehampton · 2 indoor
Two super panoramic indoor courts in a working shipyard by the harbour, bookable for 60, 90 or 120 minutes without joining anything. From £7.50 each off-peak, and dry whatever the Channel is doing.
Angmering · 4 outdoor
Four floodlit outdoor courts at Worthing Rugby Club's ground in Angmering. Weekday daytime courts are £24, evenings and weekends £32; rackets come out of the blue lockers for £4.
Henfield · 2 outdoor
Two outdoor courts at a community leisure centre, with mix-in sessions three times a week and coaching for beginners up to advanced. Usual rates are £28 an hour off-peak and £40 peak, with summer offers that knock a few pounds off both.
Hassocks · 3 indoor · 3 outdoor
Three indoor doubles courts, two outdoor doubles courts and an outdoor singles court in Mid Sussex: a sensible mix that means rain only cancels half the club.
Hassocks · 3 outdoor
Three outdoor courts at the Wickwoods club in the Sussex countryside near Albourne, members only and booked through the app.
Haywards Heath · 3 covered
Three panoramic canopy-covered courts at Whitemans Green, two for doubles and one for singles. Open 7am to 10pm with in-house coaching.
Burgess Hill · 1 covered
A single covered court at Places Leisure's Burgess Hill centre, bookable alongside the pool and the gym. One court means booking ahead is wise, but it keeps padel within reach of a town without a dedicated club.
Chichester · 3 outdoor
Three outdoor courts at Chichester College's Westgate Fields. As at other Padelstars sites, members get 20% off and a longer booking window; prices are in the Padelstars app.

6 clubs have at least one indoor or covered court: East Grinstead Padel, The Triangle Leisure Centre, Harbour Padel and Smash Padel Mid Sussex and more. Covered courts keep the rain off but not the cold.
Eixo Padel, with 6 courts. Bigger clubs are the best bet for a same-day booking at peak times.
