Editorial policy

What we publish

  • Club facts only after checking them at the club's own website or booking listing (see how we verify).
  • Statistics only from a named, linked source, or computed from our own verified data with the method stated on the page.
  • Rules of play checked against the official rules of padel as applied in Britain, not against forum folklore. Where clubs commonly play local variations (the golden point, for example), we say so.
  • Technique and tactics written to be practical for club players, and labelled as advice rather than law.

What we refuse to publish

  • Prices, court counts or opening details we could not verify.
  • Reviews or ratings we did not earn: we never claim to have tested something we have not.
  • Paid placement presented as editorial. Clubs cannot buy a ranking.
  • Copy lifted from clubs, operators or other directories. Every description on this site is our own.

Corrections

If we get something wrong we fix it, and if the fix matters (a price, a rule, a figure on a data page) we update the page date. Report errors with the Suggest an edit link on any club page, through the contact form, or at hello@padelbritain.co.uk.

House style

British English, pounds first, clock times written as 7pm, and plain sentences. We would rather be useful than clever, though we allow ourselves the occasional joke if it carries some information.
